Laurence Sarno

Laurence squandered most of his career in marketing at corporations in the US, Japan, and England. Now he works to contribute to the solidarity economy by serving purpose-driven, mission-led organizations.

Laurence is Lead for the Culture Circle (where, among other happy tasks, he gets to organize parties), Deputy Lead for the Marketing Circle, and serves in the Business Development Circle. He also provides marketing and user research services to clients.

Daily, he dons his mask and cape and fights for psychological safety in the workplace, equity, diversity, inclusivity and accessibility. He believes in CoLab’s clients, and the power of cooperatives to effect significant change.

Laurence lives in Cambridge, England and writes crime fiction under his pen name John Laurence.
