The Project
Yoga Classics Input Project needed a simple, modern, accessible website to share their mission with the public and to distribute the ancient scripts that it is their mission to preserve. In consultation with Jee Chang of Black Paper Design and Cassie Cosgrove of Atrium Media NY, CoLab designed a site that nods to the modern magazine experience with large format graphics and beautiful photography. CoLab used custom javascript programming to model an animated flash site without the burden of requiring users to install the Flash plugin. This innovation also made the site easy for the Client to update, unlike most Flash projects. CoLab also produced audio spots for their bi-weekly podcasts via The Classics of Yoga Radio mini-site as translated by Lama Marut at his annual Classics of Yoga Retreat.
